LinkWatch Local

Effective date: August 5, 2026

Privacy summary

LinkWatch Local scans websites directly from your device. Website configurations, scan progress, link findings, and reports are generally stored locally on your device. The app also uses Google Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and Google AdMob, which may collect and process analytics, diagnostics, advertising, and device-related data as described below.

1. Who We Are

LinkWatch Local is provided by Persivora LLC (“Persivora,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Questions or privacy requests may be sent to support@persivora.com.

2. Scope of This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, stored, and protected when you use the LinkWatch Local mobile application on Android or iOS.

3. Information Processed by the App

3.1 Website and scan information

When you add or scan a website, the app may process:

This information is used to provide the link-checking, reporting, rechecking, source-location, history, and monitoring features you request.

3.2 Local storage

Website settings, scan progress, findings, issue states, and scan history are generally stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded by us to a Persivora-operated server as part of the app’s core scanning functionality.

When the app checks a website, network requests are sent directly from your device to the website or resource being checked. The destination website, its hosting provider, internet service providers, and other network intermediaries may receive information normally associated with an internet request, such as your IP address, request headers, device network information, and request time.

3.3 Analytics information

We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and to improve features and usability. Depending on platform settings, consent choices, and SDK configuration, analytics data may include:

We do not intentionally send the full contents of your scan reports, private credentials, or website account passwords to Firebase Analytics. Analytics events should be designed to avoid including sensitive or directly identifying content.

3.4 Crash and diagnostic information

We use Firebase Crashlytics to identify crashes and stability problems. Crashlytics may process:

We use this information to diagnose errors, improve stability, prevent abuse, and maintain the app.

3.5 Advertising information

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may collect or receive information such as:

Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your region, consent choices, device privacy settings, age-related settings, and applicable law. On iOS, tracking permission may be requested through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework when required. Refusing tracking permission does not necessarily remove advertisements, but it may reduce personalization.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to:

5. Legal Bases Where Applicable

Where laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation apply, processing may be based on:

6. How Information Is Shared

We do not sell your scan reports or website lists.

Information may be shared or processed in the following circumstances:

7. Third-Party Services

The app uses third-party services whose processing is governed by their own policies:

Advertisements or external links may lead to third-party websites or apps. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

8. Advertising and Consent Choices

Where required, the app may display a consent form for advertising and related data processing. Your available choices may include personalized ads, non-personalized ads, limited ads, or management of consent preferences.

You may also control advertising identifiers through your device settings. On Android, you may reset or delete the advertising ID through system privacy or ads settings. On iOS, you can manage tracking permission in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.

Consent choices can vary by country, device, operating-system version, and advertising-provider configuration.

9. Data Retention

Local website and scan information remains on your device until you delete individual records, clear app data, uninstall the app, or use an in-app deletion option, subject to device backup behavior.

Analytics, crash, advertising, and diagnostic information is retained by Google according to the applicable service configuration, Google’s retention practices, contractual terms, and legal requirements. We may retain aggregated or de-identified information for longer where permitted.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. However, no application, device, network transmission, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to scan a website and for avoiding scans that violate a website’s terms, robots directives, access controls, or applicable law.

11. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent regarding personal information processed by us.

You can manage much of the app’s locally stored information directly by:

For requests concerning information controlled by Persivora, contact support@persivora.com. We may need to verify your request. Data controlled independently by Google must be managed through Google’s applicable privacy controls or request mechanisms.

12. U.S. State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain U.S. states may have rights regarding access, deletion, correction, portability, targeted advertising, sharing, or sale of personal information. We do not sell your locally stored website lists or scan reports for money. Certain advertising activities may be treated as “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or a “sale” under some state laws even without monetary payment.

Where required, the app or Google’s consent tools may provide a way to opt out of personalized or targeted advertising. You may also contact us at support@persivora.com.

13. International Data Transfers

Google and other service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Applicable safeguards are handled according to the relevant provider’s terms and legal obligations.

14. Children’s Privacy

LinkWatch Local is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a Persivora account because the core app does not require an account.

If the app is later offered to children or included in a children/families program, advertising, analytics, consent, and data-collection settings must be configured to comply with the applicable child-privacy and app-store requirements.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support@persivora.com.

15. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Signals

Mobile operating systems and advertising providers offer privacy controls that may affect tracking or personalized advertising. The app honors platform-required consent mechanisms. Support for browser-based “Do Not Track” signals may not apply to native mobile app activity. Where legally required and technically supported, recognized opt-out signals may be handled by applicable service providers.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, third-party services, or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date and, when appropriate, provide notice in the app or through another reasonable method.
